Speaker Series 2011-2012
Evidence-Based Approaches in Child and Adolescent Mental Health
This series is designed to provide health and mental health professionals, educators, and students with current strategies for understanding, identifying, and treating children and adolescents with mental health problems.
There are two types of presentations available: 1) Keynote overviews are 60 minutes presentations designed to provide a review of the literature for interventions on the identified disorder. There are no fees for keynote overviews; 2) Workshops are designed to teach specific skills to implement the interventions. Workshops cost $150. A partial fee waiver of $100 is available for TRUST affiliates and MDCPS employees.
In collaboration with the Society for Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and The Children's Trust, Florida International University’s Center for Children and Families announces its Fall 2011 Speaker Series on Evidence-Based Approaches in Child and Adolescent Mental Health
