MEUCE: 2012 Think Transatlantic Contest Essay | « Back to Event List

The Miami-Florida European Union Center of Excellence, the European Studies Program, the Politics and International Relations Department, the Modern Languages Department, in cooperation with the German Embassy in Washington D.C., the Consulate General of Germany in Miami, is pleased to announce its first annual contest essay on the German-USA transatlantic relations.

Application/Deadline: November 12, 2012
The essay along with the submission form must be submitted via e-mail by no later than 5:00pm, Nov. 12. Please send the submission to Christine I. Caly-Sanchez and Dr. Markus Thiel—calyc@fiu.edu and thielm@fiu.edu

The winners will be announced on Nov. 19 during the Recognition Award Ceremony.

This Essay Contest is part of the program Think Transatlantic Campus Weeks organized by the German Embassy in Washington DC. A total of 25 colleges and universities across the United States are participating in the Think Transatlantic Campus Weeks, which involve a variety of activities during the Fall 2012 semester.
